Kawangware Vision Center, Kenya – NextAid has partnered with the inspiring community-based organization to build a “green” workshop and multipurpose facility for their youth programs and micro-business that strive to get youth off the streets by offering economic activities. www.nextaid.org/kawangware.htm

goGogetters program, South Africa – goGogetters is a loveLife program empowering South African grandmothers (gogos), who have dedicated their senior years to the wellbeing of orphaned and vulnerable children. NextAid is raising funds for the schooling needs of the children and youths in this program. www.nextaid.org/sendachildtoschool.htm

Women and Girls’ Health Resource Centers, Sierra Leone and Namibia – NextAid is working with Architecture for Humanity to bring much needed resources and support to the girls and women of Africa. This new initiative is working closely with African First Ladies to design and build two Women and Girls’ Health Resource Centers in Southern and West Africa. The pilot centers will serve as model demonstrations for additional centers in other parts of Africa.
